Hello, I'm Baiba. My journey into therapy began after many years of teaching mindfulness in workplace settings. While I love facilitating mindfulness at work programs, I found myself drawn to helping people on a more personal level. This led me to Gestalt therapy, which, like mindfulness, emphasizes the present moment. It’s about being fully here and now, and I find it a natural continuation of my mindfulness work. Gestalt therapy focuses on helping individuals connect with their immediate experiences and discover their own answers.

I believe that at some point in our lives, we all need support—someone who can hold our hand as we navigate difficult moments and help us reconnect with ourselves.

It is a privilege for me to walk alongside my clients as they become own authors of their own lives. I invite you to take this time for yourself, to explore your inner world, and to become more aware of your thoughts, emotions, and sensations, so you can connect more deeply with what's happening in the here and now.

I see my role as supporting that part of you that made the courageous decision to seek help, offering you a safe place as you navigate life’s challenges.

My approach

My approach is warm and open. I love inviting you to explore new perspectives and experiment with different approaches to see what works best for you. Between sessions, we’ll come up with meaningful tasks for you to work on between sessions. I’ll share practical tools and wisdom drawn from my trainings, teachers, clients, and personal experiences.

I offer a welcoming and supportive space where we can explore your life together from a fresh perspective. We'll work on identifying any patterns or limiting beliefs that might be holding you back, gently acknowledge any painful experiences, and reflect on your achievements and dreams. This process can help free you to embrace new possibilities.

My background

Originally from Latvia, I now live in the Alicante area. With over a decade of mindfulness meditation practice, I bring the benefits of mindfulness into my work with clients. As part of my professional growth, I also attend group supervision and continue personal therapy, ensuring I bring my best self to each session.

I stay up-to-date through ongoing learning and participation in conferences.

- 10+ years of mindfulness meditation experience, including silent retreats

Fees

The first session is a free introduction session to see if we’re a good fit. If we decide to continue, this session will count as your first, and you’ll receive an invoice for the standard fee. In the second session, we’ll finalize the details regarding frequency, evaluations, and payments.
